Kris is one of the founding partners and brings his robust experience and understanding of commercial insurance to the table. Every Wednesday morning you’ll find Kris volunteering for local food distribution centre, Feed the Need in Durham. Occasionally, he’s been known to change a lightbulb or two.
Vivian is a dedicated broker specializing in commercial insurance. Vivian loves to travel and often speaks to local community groups about the importance of travel insurance, specifically for those with pre-existing medical conditions. She also began ‘Treat Friday’, for which we owe her our un-ending gratitude.
As a graduate of Trent University’s Psychology program, Breanne leverages in-depth critical analysis to deliver insurance advice clients can trust. Always ready to help another team member, Breanne has been involved in just about every department at D.I.S. She loves ringette, the Minnesota Vikings, and competitive eating.
As a member of our personal lines insurance team, Maralyn is a strong advocate for our clients. Her genuine care and expertise is a reassurance for any client who has experienced a claim. Maralyn loves going for walks, attending church, and defending her car’s paint job.
Jessica manages our marketing and communications, which means she takes a lot of pictures and talks to us all about Facebook. Her focus on brand identity and technology has helped us launch tools to innovate the client experience and drive the insurance industry forward. Jessica is passionate about supporting local business and the community of Durham Region.
Autumn is likely the first person you speak to, when you call or visit D.I.S. Financial Group. Her sense of humour and kind nature make our clients feel comforted and at home. Autumn’s passion for people extends to her community, where she is a dedicated volunteer. She loves camping, spending time with her family, and telling Chuck Norris jokes.
Sandra is an expert when it comes to the field of administrative management. She watches the day-to-day workings of the office finances (hello, paychecks!) and helps to manage our agency accounts. Sandra loves playing golf and spending time with her granddaughter.
With a background in hospitality management, Amanda is a personal lines broker that makes each client feel comfortable. She lives in Bowmanville with her husband and two children and loves spending time with her family at their cottage. She also has a crippling fear of birds, which makes spring especially hilarious.
